Using Plasma Cleaner To Improve Sample Preparation Method

Cryo-electron microscopy (Cryo-EM)  is a versatile technique that can be used to determine high-resolution structural information on biological specimens. Cryo-EM recent advances owing to developments in microscopes imaging hardware, and software. However, for many biological specimens cryo-EM projects, the main barrier is still in the sample preparation phase. In order to obtain high resolution cryo-electron microscopy images as well as better sample dispersion, we optimized the TEM grid. We used different parameters of plasma clean conditions to improve the TEM grid, which allowed us to obtain images with good dispersion and good resolution.
